Max Lagace was the game’s second star, playing tonight’s game after taking the knock early in Game Four.
That was tough to swallow. Crunch played a great game against a veteran-heavy Laval team and got it wining 38 seconds and change of the finish line only to see it slip away at the hands of family, Cedric Paquette. I’m a little shocked. Laval was a very good team and a tough out, but this Syracuse team looked primed for a deep run the way they played down the stretch. Now it’s exit interviews and the possibility of Ben Groulx moving along in the offseason. What a difference 38 seconds makes.
