Daniel Walcott, Miftakhov, and Gabriel Fortier were the game’s three stars.
In hitting 20 goals for the season, Gabriel Dumont pulled into 7th in the AHL in goals. Sean Day is also tied for 16th in the league in scoring among defensemen.
For the moment, Syracuse hops into a tie for 4th in the division in points, although Laval holds five games in hand. The Crunch really need to go on a run here if they want to start to make more headway in the standings. Their performance thus far this weekend has been critical to that goal.
