McDonagh being out of the lineup was a big loss, but I felt more that the team exhaled a bit with Kucherov back in the lineup and maybe felt like they could just roll their helmets out and win. And, it just doesn’t work that way against a veteran team like Boston. Jon Cooper looked ready to chew through the microphone in the post game press conference, so I’m sure there will be a come to Jesus again between now and their next tilt. The team’s own healthy dislike of Boston is probably shame enough for a pretty good response next time out, though.
Boris Katchouk had 2 shots, 1 hit, and 1 blocked shot in 8:52.
Taylor Raddysh had 2 hits and 1 blocked shot in 9:19.
Cal Foote was -2 with 6 hits in 15:14.
