Brayden Point, Vasilevskiy, and Victor Hedman were the game’s three stars.
With Kucherov and Cernak out, the Lightning still beat the supposedly mighty Panthers with a so-so middling effort thanks to Vasilevskiy. They’re not even playing well, and they’re 7-3-3. I think they’ll be ok.
Boris Katchouk had a helper and was +1 with 1 shot and 4 hits in 9:26. Congrats to him on his first NHL point.
Taylor Raddysh was +1 with 1 shot in 10:27.
Cal Foote had 1 shot, 1 hit, and 2 blocked shots in 13:31.
Ross Colton had a helper and was +1 with 2 shots and 3 hits in 13:53. He was also 62% on 21 draws. Easily his best game in a while on paper, and perhaps largely due to playing with some familiar ex-Syracuse teammates.
