Amir Miftakhov stopped all 29 shots he faced for his first career AHL shutout. He begins his AHL career 3-0-0-1 with 1 SO, a 1.29 GAA, and a .953 sv%. This is pretty much the best minor pro start to a career for a Lightning prospect goaltender in the franchise’s history. Granted, that’s a low bar for the most part, but still. Good on Miftakhov.
