Lightning handle business in Ottawa.
TB-5
OTT-3
Brian Elliott allowed three goals on 27 shots for the victory. He played pretty well. Didn’t allow anything soft and gave his guys time to pull away from a subpar team.

Ondrej Palat and Victor Hedman were the game’s first and third stars.
With Sergachev suspended, the Lightning were having to lean on an unfamiliar defensive group and did well to weather the storm and eventually wrestle control of the game away at the end. The Syracuse-ness of this lineup was mind-boggling at one point.
Big difference between this game and the Toronto game: when Palat had the breakaway chance to bury Ottawa he converted unlike Point’s breakaway in the previous tilt. When the chance for the back breaker comes, you have to be ruthless.
Alex Barre-Boulet was -1 in 9:52.
Taylor Raddysh was -1 with 2 shots, 1 hit, and 1 blocked shot in 11:19.
Cal Foote was -2 with 1 blocked shot in 12:26. It was not his finest hour.
Ross Colton was -1 with 1 shot and 1 hit in 9:39. He was also 67% on 9 draws.
