Logan Brown, Conor Sheary, and Jack Finley (always bet on JACK) were the game’s three stars. In his last nine games, Brown has 5-6-11, including tonight’s hat trick. Jack Finley has 9-7-16 in his last 14 games. Fellow tall forward Conor Geekie registered his first multi-point AHL game with assists in triplicate and has 2-4-6 in his last six games.

It’s been a roller coaster and will probably continue to be so with the stakes so high in every game. But, tonight, the Crunch continued to rise to the occasion with a critical victory that allowed them to maintain their two point edge on Belleville for the last playoff spot in the North Division with the Sens still holding a game in hand after they crushed Bridgeport 6-1 this evening. The real drama as of this writing is happening in unincorporated Texas near Austin where the Stars have a 3-1 lead over Cleveland through 40 minutes. Should that score hold, Syracuse will be just two points back of the Monsters with both teams having 15 games left to play.
