The Lightning were the marginally better team through 20 minutes and then absolutely dominated the reigning Western Conference champions from the open of the Second Period on. Tonight is what Julien BriseBois envisioned when he retooled his team to be more effective defensively and more on their toes 5v5. Not even the 4 Nations break seems to have slowed this team down, and you can tell there’s a belief growing in the locker room about what the team is capable of. They’re a couple of more solid moves by JBB away from being a serious Cup threat this year, IMO.
