Brayden Point and Elliott were the game’s first and second stars.

Tampa Bay widely outshot Chicago 37-23 in the game, but Petr Mrazek remains one of the most annoyingly streaky goaltenders in hockey. The Lightning organization got a taste of that back in the day when the Crunch lost the Calder Cup Finals to Grand Rapids and they’ve bumped into “good Mrazek” a few times since. Still, the Lightning kept their heads even after a triple-shot of ex-Bolt Prospects conspired to tie the game in the Third Period and even though they lost Captain Steven Stamkos in the First Period to an apparent skate gash on his left leg.

Mikey Eyssimont had 4 shots, 1 hit, and 1 blocked shot in 11:17.
