I got interesting Tampa Bay hockey while hanging around Atlanta during the late 80's and early 90's. As a follower of the Atlanta Knights IHL hockey team, when they became a minor league affiliate of Espo's expansion team in Tampa, I became an avid follower of Lightning hockey and their minor league prospects.

In 1996, I moved from Atlanta to Nashville where I continued following Tampa Bay Lightning hockey. By late 2003, I joined Chad and Pete as a Tampa Bay Lightning staff writer at Hockey's Future reporting on the Bolts' North American Pro prospects. I continued writing in that capacity for Hockey's Future until the end of 2004 when Chad, Pete, and myself formed the Bolt Prospects online magazine.

In my free time, I play local recreational league hockey for Premier Orthopedics at the Sportsplex here in Nashville.
