Dimitri Kazionov was scoreless as Kazan and Ufa battled to a 2-2 tie. Vasily Koshechkin rode the bench as Togliatti fell to Nizhnekamsk 2-0 with Mike Fountain in net. Albert Vishnyakov was a scratch as Dynamo beat Chelyabinsk like they were owed some money 6-2. Denis Kazionov was scoreless in Tver's 5-3 loss to Magnitogorsk. Alexei Glukhov failed to find the scoresheet in Cherepovets' 6-2 pummelling at the hands of Chekhov. Anton But scored SKA's final goal as St Petersburg fell to CSKA 5-3.
