Superleague Score Update
Submitted by pete on February 22, 2007 - 22:36First, I want to thank BP member Chelya for getting the explanation as to why the (former) official statistics site of the Superleague went down. Apparently the league chose not to renew with Global-Sport so they folded their website. With that in mind, here are the updates from a little over three tours worth of action in the last week:
Wednesday's Superleague Scores
Submitted by pete on February 14, 2007 - 19:32Dimitri Kazionov was scoreless in Kazan's 3-2 win over Nizhnekamsk.
Denis Kazionov was scoreless in Tver's 4-2 loss to Salavat Yulayev.
Alexei Glukhov was scoreless in Cherepovets' 3-1 win over Khabarovsk.
Evgeny Artyukhin was scoreless in Yaroslavl's 6-1 pounding of Novokuznetsk.
Vasily Koshechkin was perfect in relief of starter Mike Fountain in Togliatti's 5-4 win against Chelyabinsk. Koshechkin is now 16-12-4 this season. He missed the recent LG Hockey Games while nursing an injury.
Anton But was scoreless in SKA's 6-2 defeat at the hands of Podolsk.

LG Games Update
Submitted by pete on February 13, 2007 - 14:31Russia finished second at the Swedish leg of the Euro Tour, The LG Hockey Games, on Sunday finishing the tournament at 0-1-2. Lightning forward prospect Anton But finished with 1 assist in 3 games with a -1 rating, 0 penalty minutes and 10 shots on goal. He played primarily on Russia's top line. Goaltender Vasily Koshechkin, who was originally named to the team, missed the tournament due to injury.

Friday's Superleague Scores
Submitted by pete on February 2, 2007 - 17:13Dimitri Kazionov was scoreless as Kazan trounced Tver 8-2 today. Denis Kazionov did not play for Tver.
Albert Vishnyakov had an assist in Dynamo's 4-2 win over Podolsk.
Anton But had a goal in SKA's 2-2 tie with Chelyabinsk.
Vasily Koshechkin got the day off again as Mike Fountain backstopped Togliatti to a thrilling 0-0 tie with Novokuznetsk.
Evgeny Artyukhin was scoreless in Yaroslavl's 4-3 overtime win against Khabarovsk.
Alexei Glukhov was scoreless in Cherepovets' 3-2 overtime win against Salavat Yulayev.

But/Koshechkin Named To Russian LG Games Roster
Submitted by pete on January 31, 2007 - 23:08RussianProspects.com is reporting Lightning prospects Anton But and Vasily Koshechkin have been named to the Russian roster for the upcoming LG Games. The LG Games are the Swedish leg of the annual Euro Tour which features national teams comprised of the best club team players from Europe. The games will run from February 8th to February 11th.
