Vasily Koshechkin fell to 10-6-3 on the year as Togliatti lost to Magnitogorsk 3-1.

Evgeny Artyukhin scored his second goal of the season in Yaroslavl's 4-3 win over Novosibirsk.

Alexei Glukhov was scoreless in Cherepovets' 3-2 loss to Omsk.

Anton But was scoreless in SKA's 4-2 loss to Khimik.

Dimitri Kazionov and Albert Vishnyakov were scoreless in Kazan's 7-4 win over Dynamo.

Denis Kazionov was scoreless in Tver's 3-0 loss to Nizhenkamsk.

WHL-Russia Game Two

Last night in the final game of the CHL-Russia Challenge, Team WHL crushed the Russian selects 8-1 to complete the six game sweep for the CHL. Denis Kazionov was scoreless and -2 with 6 penalty minutes in the game. Kazionov finished the tour tied for third on the Russian team in scoring with 2 goals and 4 points, officially, with 10 penalty minutes which is a solid outing considering the low level of the teams Russia usually sends to this event and the high level of talent the CHL can conversely send into these games. Kazionov will now return to his club team Tver in the Russian Superleague.

WHL-Russia Game One

Denis Kazionov had a goal last night in the Russian Selects' 5-3 loss to the WHL in the CHL-Russia Challenge. Kazionov is currently third on the Russian team in scoring checking in officially at 2 goals and 4 points in 5 games with 4 penalty minutes. The tour concludes tonight with a rematch between Russia and the WHL Selects.

CHL Game Night: 11/29

Chris Lawrence scored his 16th goal of the season and was +2 in Mississauga's 6-5 shootout loss to Belleville. The 2005 3rd round pick failed to convert on his attempt in the penalty shot session and had 7 minutes in penalties including a fight against Belleville's Aaron Snow. Lawrence's point streak now extends to six games. Over that span he has netted 5 goals and 11 points with a +10 rating and 11 penalty minutes.

The WHL All-Stars beat Russia 5-3 in Game 5 of the Canada-Russia Challenge Wednesday night. While no Tampa prospects played for Team WHL, Denis Kazionov had another goal for Russia in the loss.

OHL vs. Russian Selects: Game Two

Denis Kazionov scored his first goal of the CHL-Russia Challenge tonight to go along with 2 penalty minutes, but it wasn't enough as the Russians fell to Team OHL 4-3. Kazionov has enjoyed a strong tour of North America thus far picking up points in 3 of the 4 games he has played thus far against select teams from the QMJHL and OHL. Through four games, Kazionov has 1 goal and 4 points. Denis plays his hockey in the Russian Superleague, the top men's league in Russia, despite the fact he won't turn 19 until December 8th. The young winger plays primarily a fourth line role for the club team Tver.

Saturday's Superleague Score

Anton But scored his 5th goal of the season in SKA's 6-3 loss to Tver. But has 5 goals and 10 points through 26 games this year. Denis Kazionov of Tver did not play as he remains on tour with the Russian contingent in the CHL-Russia Challenge.

CHL-Russia Challenge: Russia vs. OHL Game One

In the first game between the OHL and a select touring team of Russian juniors in the CHL-Russia Challenge, Chris Lawrence had an assist tonight as the OHL won 5-0. Denis Kazionov is a member of Russia's entrant in the tour.

Kazionov had 2 assists on Tuesday night in Russia's 4-3 loss to a team of QMJHL stars. Kazionov also had an assist on Monday on the opening night of the tour as Russia fell 6-2 to the QMJHL.

Wednesday's Superleague Scores

Denis Kazionov did not play in Tver's 2-0 loss to Novosibirsk. Kazionov has been named to Russia's team for the annual CHL-Russia Challenge.

Albert Vishnyakov was scoreless in Dynamo's 4-3 loss to Novokuznetsk.

Albert Vishnyakov had an assist in Dynamo's 5-1 loss to Novosibirsk. Vishnyakov now has 6 goals and 10 points in 17 games this season.

Denis Kazionov did not play in Tver's 3-2 loss to Novokuznetsk.

Friday's Superleague Scores

Evgeny Artyukhin assisted on 2 of former Lightning prospect Fedor Fedorov's 3 goals as Yaroslavl dismantled Salavat Yulayev 6-2. Artyukhin now has 1 goal and 6 points in 22 games this year to go along with 121 penalty minutes.

Vasily Koshechkin got the day off in Togliatti's 4-3 loss to Khimik.

Albert Vishnyakov was scoreless in Dynamo's 2-1 overtime loss to Chekhov.

Denis Kazionov did not play in Tver's 3-1 loss to CSKA.
