Boutin, Jonathan

AHL Game Night 1/19: Penguins at Admirals

Who'd have thunk it? It's a double shutout night!

WBS-0
NOR-4

Jonathan Boutin finally got off the bench and stopped 24 of 24 shots for his first shutout of the season. The win breaks a 9 game personal losing streak for Boutin. Way to get off the schnide young man.

Boutin, Rosehill, and Henrich were the game's three stars.

Radek Smolenak with 2 assists after scoring his first AHL goal last night. Do we dare start believing?

Junior Lessard got his first goal and point as an Admiral and Paul Szczechura now has points in each of his first three games with Norfolk. Impressive.

It would figure the first night in a while they got goal support they wouldn't be able to keep the puck out of the back of their net.

Eventually when you keep subtracting forwards, something like this happens.

You know what's a shame? Other than giving up 3 unanswered goals in the span of about six minutes to blow another two points the team could've had? What if Adam Henrich had approached his career with this kind of urgency when he was 20-21 years old?
