In recent interviews, Gusev cited his openness to coming to North America to join his friend and former CSKA Jr. teammate Nikita Kucherov. However, big market SKA St. Petersburg will have the resources to put together a compelling financial package for Gusev to stay put if they want to retain him, so stay tuned.
