Kevin Quick to the OHL?

Quick and his younger brother went in the 8th and 9th round respectively. One poster speculated that the brother did not want to play NCAA hockey and that Kevin was on the fence. Apparently a family decision was made that if one team could get both, they would go together.

An intersting development.

Salisbury Game Night: 2/24

Salisbury School 14 - Canterbury School 2

In their final game of the regular season the Knights won their 13th straight and clinched the #1 seed in the west for the New England playoffs. On a sour note, his team put up 14 goals but Lightning prospect Kevin Quick failed to record a point in the blowout.

Salisbury plays host to #4 seed South Kent School from South Kent, Conn. on Wednesday.

Salisbury Game Night: 2/21

Salisbury School 3 - Hotchkiss School 0

Kevin Quick was scoreless and plus-2 as Salisbury beat Hotchkiss for the first time in three tries this season. The win gives the Knights at least a share of the Founders League regular season title. The winning streak now sits at 12 with the regular season concluding Saturday at home against Canterbury School out of New Milford, Conn.

Kevin Quick picked up an assist as Salisbury (17-3-2) won their 11th straight. For the season Quick has one goal and nine assists, is a plus-20 with 4 PIM.

Salisbury takes on Hotchkiss School (14-4-3) tonight, a game with huge Founders League and New England Playoff ramifications. The two teams are involved in a three-way tie atop the standings with Avon Old Farms and the Knights have lost both matchups against the Bearcats this season, 1-0 on Dec. 6 and a double overtime loss in the Flood-Mar Tournament final 4-3.

Kevin Quick scored his first goal of the season as Salisbury won their 10th game in a row. Quick fired a quick wrist shot from the top of the circles that found its way through in the third period. Salisbury sits in a three-way tie for first place in the Founders League with Avon Old Farms and Hotchkiss School. The Knights make up last weeks game, which was cancelled due to weather, against Albany Academy tonight then face Hotchkiss on Wednesday.
