Bolt Prospects Prospect of the Week: 11/20-11/26
Submitted by pete on November 27, 2006 - 22:42Sooner or later, Chris Lawrence is going to win this award given how well he is playing (2 GP, 2-3-5, 2 PIM, +1 this week). But it was time for the first back-to-back winner of the award this week.
Bolt Prospects Prospect of the Week: 11/13-11/19
Submitted by pete on November 20, 2006 - 22:24Gerald Coleman (2 GP, 2-0-0, 1.51 GAA, .945 sv%) and Adam Henrich (3 GP, 2-5-7, 4 PIM, +6) both put together outstanding weeks for Johnstown, but there's no doubt in my mind this week's winner was the most valuable player of his team for the past seven days.
AHL Game Night 10/14: Falcons at N. Admirals
Submitted by pete on October 14, 2006 - 21:22Ouch.
SPR-1
NOR-8
Sean Burke allowed 5 goals on 14 shots for the loss before being lifted for Karri Ramo who allowed 3 on 17. Jared Aulin scored the lone Falcons goal. Marek Kvapil was a scratch for Springfield.
It should also be noted Ramo got multiple penalties for leaving the crease and initiating a fight with Admirals goaltender Sebastien Caron in a bloody and fight marred third period.

Following this disasterous effort I expect some changes might be made before next weekend's batch of game. It was already a likelihood that some of the lower line/healthy scratches like Deveaux, Henrich or Hrdel might be on their way down for Johnstown's opener, but given the strong play of Lascek and Smolenak in the Chiefs' preseason games this weekend, now might be the time for Springfield to entertain more wholesale changes.
