Season totals: 10 GP, 1-5-6, +2, 12 PIM
Barberio scored his first goal of the year to open the scoring, and from there the onslaught started for Moncton. Barberio, who is starting to heat up, led the team in shots on goal with seven.
OHL
Sarnia Sting 6 @ Windsor Spitfires 5

Season Totals: 8 GP, 3-2-5, +6, 2 PIM
Sarnia notched a big win on Windsor ice when they scored with just under two minutes left to finally take the lead for good in this back-and-forth game.
Ottawa 67’s 4 @ Kingston Frontenacs 5
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 1-0-1, E, 2 PIM (tripping)
Season totals: 10 GP, 3-3-6, +5, 4 PIM
Doug Gilmour's Frontenacs swept the home-and-home series this weekend with Ottawa. Sointu had given Ottawa a brief 1-0 lead early in the first. Gilmour, aka "Killer," began coaching Kingston mid-way through last season.

Season totals: 5 GP, 0-0-0, -3, 8 PIM
After winning seven to start the year, DeCoste and Sault Ste Marie took their first loss of the season Friday night. DeCoste is still trying to find that illusive first point of the season.
Kingston Frontenacs 3 @ Ottawa 67’s 1
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 0-0-0, -1, 0 PIM
Season totals: 9 GP, 2-3-5, +5, 2 PIM
Ottawa failed to move out of last in the East Division, losing to the team that finished there last season.
Erie Otters 0 @ Oshawa Generals 3
G Michael Zador, OSH: Win, 37 saves on 37 shots, Shutout, *First Star*
Season: 4 GP, 2-1-1-0, 4.02 GAA, 8.86 sv%, 1 SO
Now that’s how you reclaim the No.1 goaltender spot. After sitting for four games, Zador (pictured) finally got the nod for Oshawa and was stellar in a 37-save shutout - especially early. He dropped his GAA a full goal and a half with the effort. It was his first career shutout in 33 OHL games.

Edmonton Oil Kings 2 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 5
RW Carter Ashton, LET: 1-2-3*
Season totals: 7 GP, 6-2-8, -9, 11 PIM*
Lethbridge won their third straight game, scoring four third period goals to beat former Lightning prospect Torrie Jung and Edmonton. Carter’s goal was scored in highlight-reel fashion when he “swooped through the Oil Kings' crease, out-waited Jung, and then slid the puck low to make it 3-1 (Lethbridge Herald).†This was the ‘Canes home opener after starting the year with eight straight road games (2-6). Ashton has scored in four straight games.

Moncton Wildcats 2 @ Chicoutimi Sagueneens 4
D Mark Barberio, MCT: 0-0-0, -1, 4 PIM, 2 SOG
Season totals: 8 GP, 0-3-3, E, 8 PIM
Moncton pulled within a goal with just under five minutes to go, but they couldn’t come all the way back from a 3-0 deficit on the road. Barberio (pictured) is still looking for his first goal of the season.

Ottawa 67’s 2 @ Belleville Bulls 3 (OT)
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 1-0-1, E, 0 PIM
Season totals: 8 GP, 2-3-5, +6, 2 PIM
Sointu scored his second goal of the year while on the power play. The goal opened the game’s scoring early in the first, and though the 67’s tied the game late, the Bulls won it in overtime.

LW/C Alex Hutchings, BAR: 0-1-1, E, 2 PIM (high sticking)
Season totals: 7 GP, 3-6-9, +3, 2 PIM
The Colts struggled on the road after winning two straight at home.
Windsor Spitfires 6 @ Kingston Frontenacs 3
C Richard Panik, WSR: 0-1-1, +3, 0 PIM
Season Totals: 6 GP, 2-2-4, +4, 2 PIM
Windsor scored four times in the third to turn a 3-2 deficit into a comfortable win.
Ottawa 67’s 4 @ Oshawa Generals 5 (SO)
LW Matais Sointu, OTT: 0-1-1, +2, 0 PIM
Season totals: 7 GP, 1-3-4, +6, 2 PIM
G Michael Zador, OSH: Back-up.
Season: 3 GP, 1-1-1-0, 5.50 GAA, 8.42 sv%
Sointu continued his tour of playing fellow Lightning prospects this weekend – sort of – as Zador watched from the bench for the third straight game. Ottawa scored with just over a minute left in the game to force overtime. Sointu is tied for the team lead in plus/minus.
