Vermont was shutout in their season opener by Minnesota as Colorado prospect Kent Patterson picked up the shutout. Florida Panther prospect Nick Bjugstad, the 19th overall pick in 2010, had two goals for the Gophers and Nashville prospect Zach Budish had a goal and two assists in the game.

Senior, Alex Killorn had two goals and an assist as the Crimson knocked off Western Ontario in Harvard's only exhibition game. They open the regular season Saturday, Nov. 4 at home against rival Princeton.
