One night after Helenius earned Second Star honors, he gets the First Star for Seattle against Kamloops.
Kelowna Rockets 1 @ Spokane Chiefs 2
G Torrie Jung, KEL: Loss, 25 saves on 27 shots, *Third Star*
Even after a great week from Kristofer Westblom and no Sunday game, Jung got the start against the (pre-game) 5-1-1-1 Chiefs and nearly pulled off a win while earning Third Star honors. Jung had good numbers against the Chiefs last season.

CHL Game Night 10/7: Fadden Nets Winner for 'Canes

Prince Albert Raiders 2 @ Lethbridge Hurricanes 4
C Mitch Fadden, LET: 1-1-2, E, 0 PIM
Mitch Fadden notched his fourth multi-point game of the year as Lethbridge dominated the Raiders in shots-on-goal, 28-9. Despite disparity in shots, it took Fadden’s power play goal at the 15:28 mark of the third period to break a 2-2 tie. The ‘Canes added an empty netter in the final minute to give the game its final score. Fadden is now tied for second in the league in goals (6) and third in points (11).
Calgary Hitmen 5 @ Prince George Cougars 3
C/W Dana Tyrell, PG: 0-1-1, E, 0 PIM
The Hitmen are now 8-1-0-0 on the year after breaking open a close game in the second period and defeating the 1-6-0-0 Cougars in Prince George, 5-3.

Game Notes: Justin Courtnall did not hit the scoresheet for the Grizzlies in their loss at Powell River, the second time in two nights Victoria has fallen to the Kings. Courtnall, who was called for roughing in the game, has one goal and two assists in six games so far this season for the 1-2-1(Ties)-2 (OTL) Grizzlies.

Game Notes: The defending league champion MAINEiacs continue to struggle and their 1-4-0(OTL)-0(SOL) record is the worst in the league. The club’s loss in New Brunswick Sunday was their fourth loss in a row after opening the season with a win. Ward has no goals and two assists in five games. He is also minus-5 with 12 PIM.
