Johan Harju is on Sweden's initial roster for the Karjala tournament. Russia has yet to release theirs, which typically has included Koshechkin. Finland's roster features ex-Lightning players Janne Niskala and Karri Ramo while Czech Republic's features ex-Lightning picks Ivan Rachunek and Marek Kvapil.

As expected, Nikita Kucherov did not appear for CSKA Jr. today in their 4-1 loss to Mytischi Jr., as he is headed to North America to participate in the annual Subway Superseries.

He earned first star honors in the victory. Ex-Lightning forward Eric Perrin had a helper on the first period goal by Jani Tuppurainen, which turned out to be the game winner. Helenius and JYP face Ilves on Tuesday, and have climbed above the line to the all important 6th position on the SM-liiga table, which gives teams a bye in the opening round of the playoffs.
