A center in high school last year, Killorn (pictured) lined up at right wing for Harvard on the second line. Killorn, who finished last year among U.S. prep scoring leaders, scored a power play goal on a rebound in the first period of his first collegiate game and led the team in shots on goal. Freshmen accounted for all three Crimson goals.

Vermont (2-0-1) won the shootout 2-1, but this will officially go down as a tie. Vermont next plays on Friday (Oct. 24) when they visit Boston College at 7:30 p.m. in a rematch of last season’s Hockey East Championship game. The game will be televised on ESPNU.

Marshall stepped on the ice as a collegian for the first time, wearing No.17 for Martin St. Louis' alma mater, the University of Vermont. Marshall, who played center last year in prep school, lined up at right wing. He had 14 goals and 24 points in 27 games last year at Nobles.
