Make it 10 games without a point for Marek Bartanus. Owen Sound and Kitchener combined for 91 shots on goal, yet the result was only a 4-2 game in favor of Kitchener. Everett crushed the Winter Hawks in Portland, 9-0. Dane Crowley saw his three game goal scoring streak end, but extended his point streak to four games with two assists. He was also an outstanding plus-5.
Well, the Lightning organization was 0-2 against the Devils organization tonight.
Johan Holmqvist stopped 23 of 24 shots faced in the loss. Martin Brodeur stood on his head at times during a brilliant 28 save shutout performance to get the win.
