Johnstown gets a critical victory.
Morgan Cey only had to stop 14 shots in the game as Johnstown's defense had perhaps its best night of the season. Dimitri Tarabrin had a strong 2 goal and 2 assist night while Grant Jacobsen added 2 goals and 1 assist. Geoff Waugh had the other Chiefs goal and added an assist. Jean Desrochers and Andrew Martens each had a pair of helpers and Gus Katsuras and Maxime Boisclair chipped in individual assists.
The Johnstown win, coupled with a Toledo loss, puts the Chiefs just 1 point out of a playoff spot.

In game two of their opening round playoff series, Linkopings captured a 2-0 lead defeating Lulea 3-2. Andreas Holmqvist remained white hot scoring a goal and adding 2 penalty minutes in the game. Game Three is set for Saturday.
Mississauga 3 @ Belleville 2
Chris Lawrence did not register a point, but Mississauga returned to their winning ways with a 3-2 win in Belleville. Lawrence had an even rating and a minor penalty, but also had an isolated 10 minute misconduct in the first period.
