Who'd have thunk it? It's a double shutout night!
Jonathan Boutin finally got off the bench and stopped 24 of 24 shots for his first shutout of the season. The win breaks a 9 game personal losing streak for Boutin. Way to get off the schnide young man.

Providence 3 @ No.10 Massachusetts 2
D John Wessbecker, UMASS: Did not play (undisclosed injury)
No.8 Notre Dame 2 @ No.1 Michigan 3
D Kevin Quick, UM: 0-0-0, E, 0 shot on goal
In an exciting game aired on CSTV, Michigan erased a 2-0 deficit against No.8 Notre Dame and earned a last minute win when Ottawa Senators third rounder (2007) Louie Caporusso banged in a loose puck from the side of the net with 20 seconds left. The goal came shortly after an offensive zone faceoff, which featured Kevin Quick on the right point. The Irish won the faceoff, but the Wolverine forecheck caused a turnover and an eventual goal.
Quick was on the ice for the Irish’s first goal, so he ended up even for the game. He had a few nice rushes and seems to be playing with a lot of confidence.
Michigan was swept 3-0 by Notre Dame last year.
