Their bus may have had trouble getting to the rink, but the Chiefs had no problem once they got there.
Gerald Coleman stopped 23 of 24 for the win in a game which was delayed because the Chiefs had bus problems on their way to the game. Veteran Randy Rowe led the way for Johnstown with 1 goal and 2 assists, Doug Andress had 1 goal and 1 assist and Adam Henrich chipped in 2 helpers. Maxime Boisclair scored the other Chiefs goal while Ian MacLean chipped in an individual assist. Rowe and Coleman were named the first and third stars of the game, respectively. Amazingly, Johnstown has rebounded quickly from the loss of Stanislav Lascek to recall and has now gotten back to .500 at 7-7-1 which is good for a tenuous 1 point lead for first place in the North Division, although it should be noted the Chiefs have played 5 more games than second place Trenton.
