Stanislav Lascek assisted on Maxime Boisclair's overtime winning goal on the power play as Chicoutimi beat Quebec 2-1.

Mark Tobin was scoreless and -3 as Rimouski was pummelled 6-3 by Drummondville.

OHL

Despite Chris Lawrence's 22nd goal of the season, Mississauga lost to Brampton 4-3 in overtime. The Ice Dogs have been eliminated from contention for the OHL playoffs.

In the shootout, Kevin Beech and Sudbury beat Kingston 4-3. Beech made 19 saves on 22 shots before stopping all 3 shooters faced in penalty shots. Radek Smolenak was scoreless and -1 in the game and failed to convert for the Frontenacs in the shootout.

Marek Bartanus scored the Attack's lone goal in Owen Sound's 3-1 loss to Guelph. The point is Bartanus' first since returning from a recent concussion.

WHL

Blair Jones was scoreless as Moose Jaw lost to Swift Current 4-2.

Despite Justin Keller's 50th goal of the season Kelowna fell to Vancouver 3-2.

John Grahame stopped 28 of 31 for the win. Ryan Craig led the way with a pair of power play deflection goals. Paul Ranger played 18:10 and was -1 with 1 shot and 1 hit. Craig played 13:40 with 2 shots and 1 hit. Evgeny Artyukhin played 6:18 with 1 hit.

The Chiefs coughed up a pair of two goal third period leads. Winer stopped 35 of 41 in his pro debut. Andre Deveaux paced the Chiefs in his first ECHL game with a goal and an assist. Brandon Elliot and Adam Henrich also had goals for the Chiefs.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jonathan Boutin's first AHL shutout. He stopped all 26 shots faced for the win and was named first star of the game. Ryan Vesce was the second star with a goal and an assist. Gerard Dicaire had an assist and was the game's third star. Norm Milley extended his point streak to four games with a helper and Doug O'Brien and Timo Helbling had assists from the blueline while Marek Kvapil also stayed hot with an assist. Darren Reid scored into the empty net to put the icing on the cake.

The Johnstown Chiefs have signed goaltender Gabe Winer out of UMASS. Winer was a four year starter for the Minutemen who just completed his best statistical season going 9-11-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .920 sv%. With UMASS out of contention in the NCAA postseason, Winer was a free agent. The 5'10" 220 lb. 21 year old is in net tonight as the Chiefs take on Reading.
