The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Mike Lundin to the Norfolk Admirals, Lightning Executive Vice President and General Manager Brian Lawton announced today.
Lundin, a 6-foot-2, 197-pound defenseman from Burnsville, Minnesota, appeared in one game with the Lightning after being recalled last Saturday. He logged 13:29 in Tampa Bay’s 4-3 victory over Atlanta last night.
Lundin has appeared in 20 games with the Admirals this season scoring two goals and nine assists. His 11 points leads all defensemen and ranks fifth overall with Norfolk while tying him for 16th in the American Hockey League in scoring among defensemen. Lundin, who also led the Admirals in scoring by defensemen last season, has appeared in 71 career AHL games (all with Norfolk) and has six goals and 36 assists in those games.
