Four point win.
Antero Niittymaki allowed 2 goals on 36 shots for the win. He's been so good over the past couple of weeks. He's helping the Lightning get wins when they're not on top of their game.

Martin St. Louis is cold blooded. The Islanders absolutely worked their tails off to earn the 2-1 lead at 9:12 of the second, only to see Marty come down and score the short side goal 25 seconds later. He completely deflated the Isles in less than half a minute. That sort of thing was happening to the Lightning far too often in the first half of the season. It's good to see the Lightning being the victimizers instead of the victims.
This just in: Steven Stamkos is the truth. He doesn't turn 20 until Sunday, and he just staked himself to his first 30 goal season as an NHLer... and then scored number 31 just for emphasis. Can you imagine how good he's going to be at 24-25 years old?
Victor Hedman walked into the Forum -3 for the season. He walked out +1. Not bad.
