LIGHTNING TO HOST CONDITIONING AND TRYOUT CAMP

CAMP OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FEATURES 41 PROSPECTS

The Tampa Bay Lightning will host 41 prospects at the St. Pete Times Forum Tuesday, July 25 through Saturday, July 29 for the 2006 Conditioning and Tryout Camp. The event is open and free to the public.

The much anticipated Rookie Camp expected this summer at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum has been scaled back. It is not expected to be a full week open to the public as it was in 2002. A series of "evaluation" skates have been scheduled for three days over the last week of July. Ice will be prepared inside the St. Pete Times Forum before July 26th. More details regarding participants forthcoming.
