After a 10-day break, Brynas returned to action at home against Timra and suffered their seventh-straight defeat when former Lightning forward Radek Smolenak [7] scored the game-deciding shootout goal for the visitors. Johan Harju ended his four-game scoreless skid late in the third period when he fed a pass from high along the boards to defenseman Ryan Gunderson who was manning the point and whose resulting shot through traffic provided an even-strength equalizer that sent the game into overtime. In net for Brynas was former Bolts netminder Johan Holmqvist [8], who stopped 31 of 35 shots in the loss. Brynas (15-18-5-10, 65 PTS) hosts Vaxjo (12-22-7-6, 56 PTS) on Saturday.
