The ECHL preseason got underway for the defending champion Florida Everblades on Friday night, as they the return of the Orlando Solar Bears with a 6-3 victory.

FLA – 6
Lightning prospect Pat Nagle [7] went the distance in net for the ‘Blades, stopping 29 of 32 shots. Dan Milan, playing his first professional game, was scoreless with a shot on goal and two penalty minutes.
The two teams face off again on Saturday night.
