In an anticipated move related to the reassignment of goaltender Marc Denis from the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Norfolk Admirals, the Admirals announced today that goaltender Ryan Munce [5] has been reassigned from Norfolk to Mississippi of the ECHL.
Since Munce's callup on December 19, he appeared in one game for the Admirals, stopping 9 of 10 shots and registering a no-decision. Earlier this season, Munce played his first eight career AHL games with the Admirals, going 2-6-0 with a 2.99 GAA and .901 save percentage. Munce has appeared in six games with the Sea Wolves this season posting a 4-2-0 record with a 2.63 goals-against average and a .936 save percentage.
