This weekend the Swiss NLA schedule began. The Lightning are well represented in Switzerland with overage prospects Eero Somervuori and Eric Perrin [3] as well as veteran Shane Willis.
Friday, Eric Perrin assisted on the opening goal of the season for SC Bern in a 6-3 victory over Lugano.
Saturday, Eero Somervuori notched his first goal of the season for Ambri-Piotta as they fell 8-4 to Geneve-Serette HC.
