In Traverse City, Michigan tonight the Lightning prospects improved their record to 2-1 with a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory. [3]
Defenseman Andy Rogers [4] scored a game winning power play goal to break the deadlock. Other Lightning goals were scored by 2005 draftee Radek Smolenak [5] and tryout invitee Maxime Boisclair. Goaltender Jonathan Boutin [6] stopped 31 of 33 shots for the victory.
The Traverse City prospect tournament concludes tomorrow night as the Lightning square off against the Detroit Red Wings' prospects.
