Ryan Munce [5] stopped 25 of 28 shots faced in the loss. Grant Jacobsen and Gus Katsuras scored the Chiefs' goals. Doug Andress, Zbynek Hrdel [6] and Andrew Martens had individual assists.
Johnstown's loss drops them back to .500 at 24-24-5. More importantly, Reading gains two points on the Chiefs who are now 4 points out of the final playoff spot in the North Division. Johnstown does, however, hold 1 game in hand on 5th place Trenton and 3 games in hand on now 4th place Reading.
