In the opening game of the 2005 Traverse City Prospects Tournament, the Tampa Bay Lightning prospects beat their Atlanta counterparts 5-3. The Lightning were paced by Kelowna Rockets winger Justin Keller [3], who scored two goals [4] and newly signed Notre Dame Fighting Irish goaltender Morgan Cey, who stopped 28 shots. The Lightning also got goals from recently signed Marek Kvapil [5], Traverse City veteran Adam Henrich [6], and Moose Jaw center Blair Jones [7]. Both Kvapil and Jones, taken in the 2005 draft, scored shorthanded. Assists were earned by Zbynek Hrdel [8], Brandon Elliott [9], Jay Rosehill [10], and 2004 first rounder Andy Rogers [11].
