Sooner or later, Chris Lawrence is going to win this award given how well he is playing (2 GP, 2-3-5, 2 PIM, +1 this week). But it was time for the first back-to-back winner of the award this week.
G Karri Ramo , Springfield (AHL)
If we've ever been guilty of overhyping a prospect at Bolt Prospects, it certainly hasn't been Karri Ramo who has lived up to every expectation and accolade we've heaped on him thus far, and then some. Ramo is now 5-0-0 in his last six starts after a week that saw him win his third straight game via shootout 3-2 against Portland on Wednesday followed by a masterful 4-1 victory at Worcester on Friday where he stopped a 14 shot third period barrage by the Sharks to preserve the Falcons victory. Ramo is now 8-3-0 on the season with 1 shutout, a 2.89 GAA and a .911 save percentage in a season where he is almost single handedly keeping Springfield's early season hopes alive.
Ramo's Statistics 11/20-11/26
2 GP, 2-0-0, 1.51 GAA, .953 sv%
