Gerald Coleman (2 GP, 2-0-0, 1.51 GAA, .945 sv%) and Adam Henrich (3 GP, 2-5-7, 4 PIM, +6) both put together outstanding weeks for Johnstown, but there's no doubt in my mind this week's winner was the most valuable player of his team for the past seven days.
G Karri Ramo , Springfield (AHL)
Where would the Springfield Falcons be without Karri Ramo? Lets put it this way: Ramo is 6-3-0 for the birds this season while the rest of the team's netminders check in at a terrible 2-6-0 combined. This past weekend Ramo almost singlehandedly willed the Falcons to a winning record going 2-0-0 in his two starts with a 2.80 GAA and .925 save percentage. On Friday night Ramo knocked off defending champion Hershey stopping 37 of 39 shots faced in regulation and overtime before stopping 4 of 5 penalty shots for the shootout win. The next night Ramo duplicated the feat against Toronto stopping 33 of 35 in regulation and overtime before stopping 5 of 6 penalty shots to once again secure the shootout victory. Ramo has won 4 of his last 5 starts and is showing that his talent is genuine and much more than hype.
Ramo's Statistics 11/13-11/19:
3 GP, 2-0-0, 0 SO, 2.80 GAA, .925 sv%
