Lightning prospect Chris Lawrence and Lightning Traverse City invitee Travis Fuller combined for 3 goals and 4 points as the Mississauga Ice Dogs defeated London 5-0 in OHL preseason action last night. The Mississauga News highlighted Fuller, who was acquired from Barrie last year, for his production and work ethic - two ingredients that could earn Fuller a contract with the Lightning in the future. Fuller had two goals and set up Lawrence's marker for the Ice Dogs. Fuller, a six-foot-one-inch winger, had 22 goals and 26 assists for 48 points in Barrie last year. He had a goal and an assist in 5 scrimmage games for Team White in July's prospect camp. Note: Exhibition boxscores are hard to come by in the WHL and OHL, so preseason recaps will be infrequent for the time being.
