So what did we miss?
Friday
-Vasily Koshechkin defeated CSKA 3-1. Koshechkin did not allow a goal until 2:52 left in the third period.
-Anton But had an assist as Yaroslavl throttled Novosibirsk 6-1.
-The Springfield Falcons defeated Lowell 4-3 on the strength of a highlight reel Marek Kvapil game winning goal. "Special K" was first star of the game with a helper on top of the goal. Zbynek Hrdel also had a goal and an assist to gain third star status on the game. Gerald Coleman stopped 35 of 38 in the victory.
-The Johnstown Chiefs defeated Trenton 5-1 on the strength of 1 goal and 1 assist by forward Justin Kelly. Prospects Mike Egener and John Toffey had assists for the Chiefs. Goaltender Morgan Cey stopped 30 of 31 for the win.
Saturday
-The Falcons fell 6-3 to Manchester. Goaltender Brian Eklund was shelled allowing 6 goals on 26 shots. Ryan Vesce, with a goal and an assist, was the game's second star.
-The Chiefs defeated first place Wheeling 4-3 in Wheeling on the strength of an Adam Henrich overtime goal. Henrich had 1 goal and 1 assist on the game as did Justin Kelly. Prospects Gerard Dicaire and John Toffey added 2 assists and 1 assist respectively. Jonathan Boutin stopped 34 of 37 for the victory.
Sunday
-In a key Elitserien matchup, Linkopings fell to Frolunda 3-2. Fredrik Norrena stopped 30 of 33 in defeat.
-Johan Hagglund had a shorthanded assist as Oskarshamn fell to Nykoping 4-3.
-The Portland Pirates defeated Springfield 5-4 in a tight see saw contest. With 2 goals and an assist, Jason Jaspers was the game's second star. Gerald Coleman stopped just 22 of 27 for the loss.

Linkopings Match Postponed
Submitted by pete on November 24, 2005 - 23:20According to swehockey.se, today's Elitserien match between Linkopings and Sodertalje was postponed due to issues with the AXA Sports Arena. No rescheduled date has been announced as of yet.

Ramo Wins First Game Since Returning From Knee Surgery
Submitted by pete on November 24, 2005 - 17:35There's no Thanksiving in Finland where Karri Ramo and HPK defeated KalPa today 4-2. The 19 year old netminder stopped 28 of 30 shots for the victory and was named second star of the game. Karri's back to back starts for HPK since returning from his knee injury seem to indicate he has retained his starting role for the club despite missing about a month rehabilitating. Ramo's record now improves to 3 wins, 1 loss and 3 shutout losses on the season.
