Spokane leads Best of 7 series 1-0

Playoffs: 16 GP, 5-15-20, +2, 17 PIM (plus 10 min misconduct)

Spokane posted a Game 1 win in the WHL championship series by jumping out to 1-0 and 3-0 end-of-period leads and cruising to a 4-1 victory. The Chiefs were coming off a tough seven game series with Tri-City and Lethbridge hadn’t played in nine days after sweeping Calgary. The teams meet again tonight (Saturday) in Spokane for Game 2.
