Lethbridge completed the sweep of Calgary, closing out the series in front of their home fans with a 4-2 win. This was the first time all season that top-seeded Calgary lost 4 in a row. The Hurricanes advance to their first WHL Finals since 1996, when they won the league championship over Seattle. They will await the winner of Tri-City and Spokane, which is tied 2-2. Both teams split 1-0 double-OT wins to start the series and Tri-City won Game 4 in overtime. Fadden is currently second in playoff scoring, three points behind T.J. Galiardi of Calgary, who is now finished.
