Artyukhin Playoffs
Not that many care but me still, but Arty has scored in two straight playoff games for CSKA. They won the first 8-0 and the second 6-1. One goal was on the PP and the other was even strength.

If I were the new owner, after firing the Coach and GM, I would sign Artie. Nobody in the league wants to mess with him; we DO NOT have a heavyweight. Our management failed to see the importance of this guy, and quibled over relatively small bucks compared to the EDGE he brings, which we do not have. During the negotiations, I senced a lot of ego (Believe it or not from the Coach). Do you think he might of helped more than Craig, Havaleck, Roy, Tarno, etc? I promise to buy a #76 Jersey!

I personally am more of a fan of Arty than of everyone you just named. Roy has proved useless and Tarnasky has disappeared again as he did for the first 20+ games of the season. We've seen what Craig can do, but he can't stay healthy to do it. Arty is weighing in at around 260 is as big or bigger than basically every defenseman in the league and he skates well. Others have and probably still will write him off, but he does want to come back to the NHL, he has stated so in several Russian interviews. CSKA fans are actually worried they may lose him after this season.
As a side note, its now 3 goals in 3 playoff games for Evgeny.

I haven't written off the player, but as long as he keeps that ***hole of an agent I feel like trying to sign him is an act in futility.
Arty ended up with 4 goals
Arty ended up with 4 goals in the playoffs. The last one was with him parked in front of the net screening and knocking it in.
