Luca Cunti

Anybody actually get to see this kid play? I would have thought he should be tearing up the USHL, but he isn't even a point per game. Is he not playing many minutes? Just not as good as the Lightning thought or is he struggling with the NA game?

Re: Cunti

If you look at his numbers over the last month, he's been on fire, a game here or there not withstanding. It took him a while to get started - since he hadn't been in any game action since his Swiss team ended their season a year before, and then was asked to jump right in with a team that was 2 months into their year. But after he got a few games under his belt, he's had a handful of multi-point games and a first star here or there.

It's way too early to make a call on him.

Also, the TIMES reported today he's back at SCSU. As I understand it, this is only half true. He's taking online classes from Chicago and returned to the school to meet with advisers as is required twice a semester.

Thanks, yeah I read that

Thanks, yeah I read that about him returning to college. Interested to see how he turns out since when he was drafted he was touted as having the one of, if not the best offensive skill sets.
