Looks like the adjustment

Looks like the adjustment period might be coming to an end and now he's getting a handle on what he's got to do to be successful at the NCAA level. Hopefully he'll finish this season strong, train up and get stronger in the offseason and have a great '08-'09 and then the Lightning can start consider signing him.

Quick

And the scratches seem to have stopped.

Yep. He's developing nicely.

Yep. He's developing nicely. Wasn't surprised that there was a freshman transition, and wasn't going to bail on the kid because of it.

Same thing might happen with Killorn next season. You just have to be patient. Before they changed the rules these young guys wouldn't be drafted until after their freshman seasons, so it's only in recent years that there have been all these high schoolers drafted and it needs to be understood this is a different beast than it used to be. You're going to have to watch some of the adjustment process happen along the way that previously happened before you got a young player's rights.

Rotation

I haven't found anything to confirm, but it's looking like the freshmen defensive rotation that was being utilized has stopped and Quick is "temporarily permanent."
