Unless Dan Boyle comes back soon, this ship appears to be sinking. The simple fact is they are undermanned and overwhelmed. This is an NHL team trying to make due with 3 or 4 legitimate NHL scoring liners, 4 legitimate NHL defensemen, and a rookie netminder and a European journeyman netminder, and they are collapsing under the weight.

In related news, Marc Denis is reportedly being sent through waivers and is ticketed for Norfolk to try and put back together his shattered confidence and wrecked mechanics. Best of luck to you Marc.

Mike Lundin had an assist and was +1 in 17:21.

Mathieu Darche was -1 in 14:48 with 1 shot and 1 hit.
