Crowley Will Not Be Suspended

According to the Vancouver Province, Everett Silvertips defenseman Dane Crowley will not be suspended for his hit on Florida Panthers 2007 second rounder and Vancouver Giants forward Michal Repik. Apparently it was ruled Repik suffered his injury (now diagnosed as a severe concussion) when he hit the ice and not from Crowley's hit. Repik spent two nights in the hospital. Crowley received a 5-minute major and game misconduct for the hit, but days later the league actually revoked both penalties and said the hit was not illegal.
