Seattle outshot Red Deer 37-23, but Landon Ferraro, son of former NHLer Ray “Chicken Parm” Ferraro, beat Helenius with just over a minute left for Red Deer to win the game for the Rebels. Helenius has taken the loss in 7 straight appearances.

Kelowna Rockets 4 @ Portland Winter Hawks 1
G Torrie Jung, KEL: Win, stopped 26 of 27 shots

Jung got a rare start and now has wins in two consecutive appearances. The Rockets have earned at least a point in 10 straight games.
