Prince George lost their sixth in a row as they fell to the CHL’s seventh ranked team, Tri-City, 4-2. The Cougars were outshot 40-16. Tyrell’s assist came on the power play. Traverse City Lightning member Colton Yellow Horn had a shorthanded goal and an assist and has 10 points in his last 4 games. The 5-8, 180 pounder is 8-15-23 in 17 games so far this year for Tri-City. The Cougars and Americans meet up again on Friday.

Jung returned to the bench for the sixth time in the last seven games. Westblom stopped 31 of 32 for Kelowna in their loss to Kamloops.
